Do you agree that everyone is entitles to a full life? Of course! One way of achieving this is committing to an active and healthy way of life. If you don't have the means to enroll in a fully equipped gym, it doesn't mean you cannot have any part in this. Be creative. We have listed some excellent tips on the best ways to work out at home.

Working out at home will not cost you much and will be much more convenient for you. As such, it might be also a challenge to stay motivated and maintain a workout schedule. Ask yourself, what will inspire you to stay fit? Is it having a great physique? Maybe it's to increase your stamina and over-all strength. Whatever is your motivation, it will be a good idea to have a picture or a phrase that will drive you framed or tacked on to your refrigerator or medicine cabinet to remind you constantly.

To make your home training sessions more effective, you need to monitor your progress regularly with detailed workout sheets. You can download these on the Internet or create and print your own log yourself. Before anything, list down important information about yourself like your age, what weight you started with, your present measurements, etc. Make it as specific as possible and check up on it weekly or monthly.

Divide your sheet into columns and list down the exercise done along with the duration, and the corresponding reps, sets and weight load every training session. Put a comment space at the last column. Put in significant events that transpired, how you were feeling, what were the supplements and food you consumed on the given day. Many times people will recognize a pattern that came out of their eating habits, specific workouts or particular stressful issues at work or at home. You will find that workout sheets will help you zero in and improve on what needs to be dealt with in your life.

Aerobic exercises are the easiest and cheapest way to keep fit. Most cardiovascular activities are free and can be done almost anywhere, anytime. How about taking a 30 minute jog around the park 3x a week? Take the stairs instead of the elevator; perform several minutes of jumping jacks or jump rope; or just crank up the MTV and start dancing up a storm!

Crunches and squats are probably two exercises that never go out of style. Fortunately for us, this can be done for free and in the convenience of our homes. Put your hands on your waist and begin executing lunges and squats in your living room. You can lie on the floor and do some crunches or sit by the edge of a piano bench and do 20 leg raises in sets of 3 to develop your abdominal muscles.

If you have no dumbbells around, use water bottles as weights to hold on to as you do arm curls for your biceps, triceps and shoulder muscles. If that's too light weight resistance is ideal to utilize. Do push-ups or knee-ups as well as chin ups if you have a sturdy high bar somewhere. Always stretch before and after training as this increases blood flow to the muscles and optimizes your body for the workout ahead.

Now you are well equipped and armed with effective ways to workout at home; use them well. Smile - you have every reason to because you look good without spending much. Enjoy!
