The game does not comprise of any physical projectiles similar to those in paintball. Any active person can engage in it since it accommodates people of most ages. The age limit for players is seven years. Tagging is a physical sport done in arenas that are dimly lit with music, players, obstacles, and strobe lights in one place. Supervision is mandatory to ensure fairness. The games are supervised by game marshals. A marshal has permission to ban players or finish it if safety is breached. Players maybe disqualified for unacceptable behavior like making contact or using abusive language. It is important to know that the marshal is not accountable for injuries suffered as a result of improper conduct.

Safety cannot be assumed at all costs. Players with health complications have to disclose them to the marshals prior to start of the event. Expectant persons can be included only if a doctor approves them. Players are advised to stick to instructions and rules throughout. It is fundamental to know that whoever is in charge has the authority to refuse players basing on any valid reason.
