The Simple Fact: Kettlebells Are a Smarter Choice

By Rob Sutter

What on earth are Kettlebells? By definition, these weights are cast iron weights that typically resemble a cannon ball, and the connected exercises combine cardio, strength and flexibility training. So what is it that makes these particular weights so different to other workout programs that are available? Their greatest asset, arguably, is that they are more flexible when it comes to workout routines.

Kettlebells can replace an entire home gym's with a few of these cannonball-shaped tools. They can also take place of treadmills due to the versatility that companies like Lorna will tout. I mean, who wants to feel like a guinea pig and run over and over again on the same device? That's what tread mills remind me of: guinea pigs running on their wheels in their cages. We are human beings, not pets. So why would you run on a tread mill?

The thing that makes kettlebells stand out from other workouts is their range of motion, and changeable movements. For example, dumbbells normally only have one motion, up and down or sometimes banking on the workout side to side, kettlebells can be swept, as well the primary exercises of these unique weights are the swing, the cleanse, the snatch and the click. All of these exercises assist you to build stamina, strength and endurance.

In addition, kettlebells are far better than traditional dumbbells in that you can store them without hassle. They don't require a weight rack and they can be placed on the floor, in a closet, or even on a hook since they aren't weighty and cumbersome. They will be right there when you're set to work out and once you're done with a particular regimen, you can easily store them away before you decide to get back in the game once more.

With all of the available knowledge beholding kettlebells it's, of course, up to the buyer to make proper purchasing accommodations, but these curved weights are for real. They're the real deal, they can help you remove weight and get into shape, and can be your one stop shop when looking for fitness products. It's time to say goodbye to that tread mill and get rid of those dumbbells.
